Guy Goulet, Director (Non independent)

President and Chief Executive Officer

Guy Goulet is a geological engineer (member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec) with more than 30 years of experience in the mining sector. He graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1986. In 1996, he was co-credited for the restart of the Wrightbar gold mine in Val d'Or, Quebec. In parallel, he has conducted with the collaboration of Hydro-Québec (LTD division) and Group STAS the only project leading to the production of lithium metal from high purity lithium carbonate. In 2000, he co-founded H2O Innovation, the largest water treatment company in Canada which he later served as president and chairman until 2008. Later in 2008, he founded Maya Gold & Silver and was co-credited for the restart of the historic Zgounder silver mine in Morocco while serving as CEO. Over the course of his career, Mr. Goulet has raised over $150 million in equity capital for the purpose of advancing associated public companies.

Hubert Vallée, Director (independent)

Mr. Vallée graduated from Laval University in Engineering. He joined Québec Cartier Mining as Project Engineer and was promoted to Director of Operations for its Pellet Plant in 2001. He managed the Iron Ore Company of Canada’s Pellet Plant in Sept-Iles before joining Domtar Inc. as CEO of its pulp mill in Lebel-sur-Quévillon. He joined Consolidated Thompson in 2006 and was one of the key people who made this project happen. After the sale of Consolidated Thompson Cliffs, Mr. Vallée acted as VP Project Development for Phase II of Bloom Lake operation. He has also been involved as Senior Vice President, Project Development, at Century Iron Mines. Other directorship: Lamêlée Iron Ore Ltd.

John G. Booth, Director (independent)

John Booth is the non-executive Chairman of the Board and is a member of the Audit, Compensation and Nominating & Governance Committees. Mr. Booth is a qualified lawyer (Ontario, NY & DC) and has worked for more than 25 years in the international capital markets as an investment banker, broker, strategist, fund manager and senior executive at firms including Merrill Lynch International, ICAP, CEDEF, ABN AMRO Bank, CIBC, the World Bank and Climate Change Capital. Until 2016, Mr. Booth was the Chairman & CEO of Midpoint Holdings Ltd., an online peer to peer Foreign Exchange matching service he co-founded and listed. From 2004 until 2012 he was also a partner with JAS Financial Products LLP, a U.K.-based alternative asset manager. He is chairman and/or non-executive director of several other private and public listed companies active in natural resources, financial services and technology. Mr. Booth holds a BSc. (Hons) in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Guelph, LLB & JD from the joint International Law program at the Universities of Windsor and Detroit and a Masters in International Finance, Tax and Environmental Law (LLM) from King’s College London. Mr. Booth currently resides in London, U.K.
